Project Overview
Aspect co-authored Aera’s Lego software, which was the management database for most of their field data, including well tests, injection target management, and daily and regulatory data collection. The system was SQLServer based, with 18 servers distributed across nine field sites between Huntington Beach to Coalinga. The resulting platform enabled anyone at any of the field locations to view data from any of the others. The HMI and data interface services were written in Microsoft C++. Aspect co-developed the standardized interfaces for the field SCADA systems to interface to Lego in order to read/write data, and implemented the services in both standalone Intouch and ArchestrA.
